Cut off the pollution and black market of used cooking oil in Bali and turn that into biodiesel

Indonesia produces 35 million tonnes of palm oil annually, 6.43 million tonnes from that turn to used cooking oil and mostly dumped to the water body. Bio Bus addresses waste problems and transportation in Bali through education and community mobilization. Started in 2015, we in the endeavor to cut off the pollution and black market of used cooking oil by converting it into biodiesel and sustainable cosmetic products. By engaging hotels, restaurants, and households, Bio Bus collect more than 2000 liters of used cooking oil every month. Bio Bus provide the first and the only one 100% biodisel transportation in Indonesia with 6 fleets today. Bio Bus also present a workshop to educate local students, international and local community on how to utilize the used cooking oil into new valuable things.
