To increase the quality of economy & education of farmer's family in rural areas

FAM LINTAU is a social enterprise aim to develop society through community-based agroedutourism with preserving nature & culture in Lintau. On the 28th of December 2018, we were born to become a farmer's family support system by developing a place to learn, an edible garden. Apart from that, on March 2019 we initiated Dangau Baraja, a learning centre for everyone, creating a fun and contextual learning method. We also developed local products, such as bamboo straw (sedotan botuang), kain tenun, anyaman kambuik and katidiang. Our products are promoted through our very own store FAM KADAI. FAM LINTAU also sells organic fertilizer, seed and seedling to support our social project. We also have an agroedutourism tour packages, such as Rice Journey (Menyusuri Perjalanan Sepiring Nasi), camp above the cloud, trekking to 7 stairs waterfall, gardening workshop, live-in with the locals, Kampung Tenun Lintau, etc. All of the tour packages are community-based, partnership with local farmers, youth, and government. Our goal is to make the participants able to emphatize how farmers live their daily life and practice sharing economy with the locals. We hope our businesses could be an effective way to develop quality economy and education in Lintau without leaving local wisdom and decrease the urbanization rate in Lintau.
