"We believe beauty is a necessity, not a luxury. We often think being beautiful is something that is so expensive and it’s a privilege for women with good income. For low-income women, that choice doesn’t exist, because they often have to put other necessities needs first. Some of them even think being beautiful is just too impossible because they just can’t afford to be what they called “high-maintenance” women. In some cases, the beauty brand often becomes a sensitive topic for women. They often ridiculed using skincare or cosmetics from a local brand as they considered these brands as cheap twopenny products. Some were just over-glorified the behavior to spend millions of rupiah on beauty products and didn’t bother to check the ingredients on imported products. Using unnatural, and not very Muslim friendly ingredients not considered an intimidating concept. That’s what inspired Moeslema's journey into beauty mobile application that can analyze skin problems and product recommendations using Artificial Intelligence. Women can assess their skin problems such as acne, dark spots, wrinkles and comedo through just a selfie. We hope to provide a lifeline to those that have been dealing with their skin for years or simply seeking guidance to get committed to a beauty routine and bring out the beauty in themselves. We believe every woman is beautiful and deserves to feel and look good in our own skin. Being a startup with a solo angel investor we try to be to achieve more while considering the effectiveness of our marketing budget.
