To provide high quality special needs education paid by trash, organic or non-organic.
Presently there are about 2,700 autistic individual ages range from 0 – 18 years old in Medan city. About 50% of them are not able to pursue their therapies or schooling due to several reasons such :
1. Formal public schools or vocational center are not equipped with human soft skills required to teach them therefore most of them are rejected.
2. There is only one low cost government autistic school which offer twice weekly two –hours therapy or schooling located at suburban area, considered ineffective in delivering good quality of education in term of well-being, knowledge and time wise for autistic individuals.
3. Private therapy center or schooling charge high school fee, not affordable for about 1,000 low income autistic individual families in Medan city.
We manage non-organic trash (plastic, paper, bottle, boxes etc.) or organic ruminant waste (cows, horses, lambs, goats) dungs. We turned the discarded non-organic material into valuable unique local content bags or sold the raw materials to producers.
The organic material turned to biogas and liquid fertilizers. This innovative action will solve left behind special needs education and benefit all of the stakeholders in the long run.
We help to solve the problems of :
1. SDG’s No. 1 (No Poverty), proven by earning resulted from selling recycle products.
2. SDG’s No. 10 (Reduce Inequalities), proven by acceptance psychologically by society
3. SDG’s No. 4 (Quality Education), proven by invitation as presentation - speaker at Asia Pacific Autism Conference 2019 – Singapore.
4. SDG’s No. 13 (Climate Change), proven by IPCC (Inter Panel Governmental on Climate Change) advised to stop cattle industry since it is the largest contribution to global warming.
With Biogas and Liquid Fertilizers resulted from ruminant dung used at the Medan School of Nature and its surrounding have helped to solve global warming.
We are trying to change the paradigm that autistic individuals are hopeless and unbearable.
With good quality of continuous education, they are not only could get therapy or registered schooling but also contribute and help to solve SDG’s issues.
