Before you start digging into what our campaign is about, here is the shovel to help you dig deeper : What is the main concern of Filosofood? -Filosofood (our campaign) is focused on the issues of food waste, which mainly caused by the surplus food left from the culinary sector (eateries) in everyday of their production. When is Filosofood was first formed? - It was formed on January 10th 2019, but hasn't been officially launched yet. Where can Filosofood be reached through? -Our campaign (Filosofood) can be accessed online, which is through its own platform (an app). Therefore, you can download it once it's been officially launched. Why would the Filosofood exists? -Research has proven that, one of the causes that's worsen the climate change is the amount of food waste produced in this world. According to the data released by ClimateCentral.org, food that gets thrown out ends up in landfills, where it gradually rots and releases methane, a strong greenhouse gas.Of course, if this still continues, our polar bears will no longer need their fur to warm themselves.Another saddening data shows, Indonesia is the world’s second largest food waster, wasting almost 300 kg of food per person each year. That's what makes us put a great hope in Filosofood, to make the extra food become less. #ExtraLess Who's the market that Filosofood targets? -We target all classes in society, to hand-in-hand solving this food wastage issue, especially from the middle and upper classes (because we want to create an image that leftovers are decent food, and aren't unhygiene). We wish that our Filosogood (the call name for eateries that will be partnered up with us) can come from all across Indonesia, and our Filoshopper (the call name for our customer) come from many regions of the country. How does Filosofood work? -The procedure is, every Filoshopper requires to download our app, and then register themselves so that they'll have a Filosofood account, and after that they're able to access any food from the vendors (Filosogood). Principally, Filosofood is an online platform that'll help anyone to find decent food to be consumed, from many eateries, but with a lot cheaper price (because it's surplus food).
