Bekas Berbekas is a Yogyakarta-based enterprise who are selling vintage second-hand goods and upcycled tote bags. Bekas Berbekas is also our respond regarding to the social and environmental issues that are currently happening in fast fashion industry. Nowadays, thrift shop is really a thing. But we offer advantages from many aspects over our competitors. First, we put forward our efforts on raising public awareness on issues that we raised. Second, our products are all curated by one specific theme, vintage. Lastly, from marketing and customer service aspect, we offer assistance for customers over product care. Bekas Berbekas also establish cooperation with many party. In order to keep our product and content quality, we hire anyone who are expert in their field. Besides, we also make contract with 'tukang jahit keliling' to help us upcycling textile waste into brand new tote bags. Employee recruitment process in Bekas Berbekas is not bounded by gender, age, and education history. Everyone is welcomed to apply. Bekas Berbekas will also make collaborations with organizations/communities that raise same visions as ours. Through Bekas Berbekas, people can shop secondhand goods, sell their preloved items, and donate their textile waste. Group of people who we aimed as our target market are people aged between 15-36 years. By shopping with us, people can get unique items with affordable price. By selling through us, people could make money from items that are not used anymore. By donating textile waste, people could throw their waste in better way because Bekas Berbekas will add more value to those waste by upcycling them to new tote bags. Therefore, our customer actions would affect in decreasing number of fast-fashion industry demand and number of textile waste.
