ABOPINK: organic recycling process that converts into food product

Abopink is our name small business enterprise located in Indramayu city, West java, Indonesia. We produce crackers or kerupuk named as Bongsang, widely consumed in Indonesia as a snack or accompaniment to main dishes. Bongsang is acronyms name from ‘Bonggol Pisang’ or banana hump. Bongsang ingredients are made from banana hump, that local farmer in Indramayu city did not know the nutrients contained in it and they throw banana humps as the organic waste into the bin. Here we have team who helped Abopink become what it is today: 1. Hera Wijaya as CEO plus who developing high quality business strategies and plan. He also responsible ensuring performing managerial team and partner. 2. Sihabudin Nur Fajari as CO-founder, chief of marketing, he take responsibility through online and offline marketing of communication strategy and identify market opportunities. 3. Rahayu as Co-founder, in charge of developing financial estimates and setting milestone and timelines Our main mission is to providing healthy, delicious and good quality of our product, and not only to earn a profit, but rather to implement widespread improvement in society about organic waste as one form for alleviating poverty. Since the beginning of business, Abopink already make partnership community empowerment with three rural areas spread in West Java, Indonesia. Total 50 famers consist of 30 female farmer and 20 male farmers. We educate them how to make banana hump become food consuming product, and today only 20 farmers within 10 male and female farmers who survive with Abopink in making banana hump cracker. We also empower 5 employee from youths drop out of school, we educate them with skill that they need such as marketing, design, accounting and entrepreneurship. From here they have new income in helping their parents in school payment. Why we you have to choose our team as the participant in this academy?
