Garuda Baru is sport development movement that engages children age 6-17 years old who love to play football. We use sports as tools to internalise life skills and values to children so they change their behaviour. We are prioritizing to children who live in urban poverty and vulnerable to work in the street. But as we know sports are inclusive. They can play what ever games they want doesn't matter with your social economy condition. As long as you kick the ball and have fun you are part of the team. Now we have 16 sites in greater Jakarta includes Depok and Bekasi. We train more than 300 children and work with more than 10 NGOs and communities. We are planning to reach more number of children and expand our program this year. Next year will be our big project because we will follow Street Child World Cup 2018 in Moscow, Russia. We will compete with 23 countries around the world and voice children rights.
