​Hai, Changemakers! Pasti akhir-akhir ini media sosial kamu ramai dengan pemberitaan kasus kekerasan anak. Kasus kekerasan anak di Indonesia menjadi momok yang menakutkan. Menurut laporan dari Kementerian Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Perlindungan Anak (PPPA), ada 16.854 anak yang mengalami kekerasan di tahun 2023 Kekerasan yang paling banyak adalah kekerasan seksual dengan jumlah 8.838 kejadian. Kemudian, ada kekerasan fisik sebanyak 4.025 kejadian dan kekerasan psikis sebanyak 3.800 kejadian.Duh… ngeri banget lihat angkanya, sampai banyak banget. Belum lagi kasus terbaru yang lagi hangat menjadi perbincangan publik. Yakni, kasus kekerasan anak yang dilakukan oleh IPS, pengasuh anak Aghnia Punjabi. Kekerasan terjadi pada kamis, 28 Maret 2024, pukul 04:18 WIB. Kronologi Kejadian Terkuaknya kekerasan yang dilakukan oleh IPS bermula saat dirinya memberikan informasi pada orang tua korban. IPS memberikan informasi jika anaknya mengalami cedera akibat jatuh dengan adanya memar di bagian mata sebelah kiri dan kening di bagian tengah atas. Saat mendapatkan kiriman foto, orang tua korban nggak mempercayai begitu saja. Orang tua korban mencoba membuka DVR CCTV yang berada di dalam kamar. Dari pantauan CCTV diketahui kalau anaknya menjadi korban dari pengasuhnya dengan tindakan dipukul, dijewer, dicubit, hingga ditindih.

Governments set the foundation for growth and progress with their extensive reach and regulatory powers. At the same time, the social sector - consisting of NGOs, nonprofits, and social enterprises - works tirelessly to address grassroots issues, ensuring that growth is inclusive and equitable. Given this context, the crucial question is how can we strengthen the collaboration between the government and social sector in Indonesia, allowing them to combine their unique strengths and work synergistically towards shared goals? We sought to address this question through a one-day capacity-building class as part of the Government Relations Development Programme for Indonesian Social Leaders (GRDP-ISL) hosted by the Chandler Institute of Governance. During this, we aimed to foster dialogue, enhance learning, and create a platform for strengthening government-social sector partnerships in Indonesia.

​Hai, Changemakers! Sabtu kemarin Champ senang banget nih, berkesempatan datang ke Belajaraya festival dari Semua Murid Semua Guru yang diadakan di Pos Bloc Jakarta. Champ datang sekita pukul 12.00 WIB dan udah banyak orang memenuhi setiap sudut. Dari di panggung akustik, talkshow di panggung musik, sampai banyak juga teman-teman yang belajar di Kelas Belajar yang diadakan di cafe-cafe sekitar Pos Bloc. Champ juga ikutan salah satu sesi Kelas Belajar dan berkesempatan belajar bareng Kak Ryan Adriandhy di Creative Storytelling for Edutaiment Content. Champ banyak banget dapat tips menulis konten storytelling, nih. Salah satunya yaitu: Setiap konten storytelling harus narasi yang jelas. Solar Chapter is a non profit organization that aims to assist the infrastructure development of remote villages in Indonesia with the newest energy method. Solar Chapter runs as a medium for university students who are attending higher education abroad to contribute to the growth and development of their homeland despite being thousands of kilometers away. 

About 18 million Indonesians lack safe water and 20 million lack access to improved sanitation facilities. With the COVID-19 pandemic, millions are still striving to endure this crisis with an added challenge. The limited access to clean water made us aware of the substandard living conditions still experienced by many Indonesian citizens. We have first-hand experience seeing the villagers walk 2 kilometers per day to access clean water. Residents of all ages, including the elderly and adolescence, spend 4 hours traversing through rocky roads on foot just to retrieve water. We are on a mission to change that! 

With your help on completing the challenges, your actions will be converted into monetary donations by our sponsors which will be used to provide infrastructure to save people from doing laborious work to access clean water. Through this campaign, we invite all of you to contribute to improving the lives of the people at Kareka Nduku village. Their need for us to have wellness is greater than ever. Warga yang tinggal di Kareka Nduku harus berjalan kaki dua jam setiap harinya untuk mencapai sumber air bersih. Penduduk mulai dari balita hingga manula yang membutuhkan waktu empat jam hanya untuk mengambil dan membawa air melalui jalan berbatu kembali ke desa mereka. Kareka Nduku hanyalah satu dari sekian banyak desa di Indonesia yang masih kesulitan akses air bersih. Saat kita meningkatkan kesadaran tentang masalah ini, kita diingatkan akan betapa pentingnya air dan bersimpati dengan saudara-saudara kita yang tidak memiliki hak istimewa seperti kita.

Indonesia dipersepsikan sebagai negara yang belum mampu meningkatkan pembangunan daerahnya secara merata. Di satu sisi, terdapat kota-kota dengan bangunan yang berkembang dengan baik tersebar di seluruh wilayah, dengan akses mudah ke berbagai fasilitas, serta pertumbuhan dan perkembangan yang terus meningkat. Di sisi lain, ada banyak desa kecil yang tidak mengalami perkembangan apa pun. Dengan adanya pandemi COVID-19, jutaan orang masih berjuang untuk bertahan dari krisis ini dengan tantangan tambahan. Kurangnya kebutuhan dasar seperti air sangat penting untuk kesehatan keluarga di Indonesia terutama di daerah pedesaan. Dengan mengikuti Challenge ini, kamu bisa meningkatkan kesadaran tentang masalah ini serta menjadi bagian dari perjalanan kami untuk membantu orang-orang di Kareka Nduku.

Dengan menyoroti dampak signifikan dari air dan bagaimana kita dapat berimprovisasi untuk memaksimalkan penggunaan air dalam kehidupan kita sehari-hari. Challenge ini akan terdiri dari aksi yang berbeda seperti berbagi foto sumber air minum kamu, foto berbagai cara untuk menghemat air, serta berbagi pemikiran dan perasaan kamu tentang polusi air dan limbah air yang berkontribusi terhadap pemanasan global.

Seluruh donasi yang diterima Solar Chapter akan digunakan untuk membangun sistem pompa air tenaga surya bagi warga di Desa Kareka Nduku, NTT, Indonesia. Tujuan dari kampanye ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat di desa Kareka Nduku dengan memberikan kemudahan akses air bersih.

Residents who live in Kareka Nduku have to walk 2 hours daily to reach a clean water source. These residents range from young toddlers to seniors who take four hours only to draw out and carry water through cobbled streets back to their village. Kareka Nduku is just one of many villages in Indonesia that still lacks access to clean water. As we raise awareness regarding this issue, we are reminded by how important water is and sympathize with our brothers and sisters who are not as privileged as we are. 
Indonesia is perceived as a country that has not been able to increase the development of its regions evenly. On one hand, there are cities with well developed buildings spread across the area, with easy access to a variety of facilities, and its growth and development continue to improve. On the other hand, there are many smaller villages that do not experience any kind of development. With the COVID-19 pandemic, millions are still striving to endure this crisis with an added challenge. The lack of basic necessities such as water is critical to the health of families in Indonesia especially in rural areas. By joining this challenge, you are raising awareness regarding this issue as well as becoming part of our journey to help the people at Kareka Nduku. 


By highlighting the significant impact of water and how we can improvise to maximize the use of water in our everyday life. The challenge will consist of different actions such as sharing a photo of your drinking water source, a picture of different ways to conserve water as well as sharing your thoughts and feelings regarding water pollution and water waste that contributes to global warming. 

All the donations received by Solar Chapter will be used to build a solar water pump system for residents at Kareka Nduku village, NTT, Indonesia. The goal of this campaign is to improve the quality of life of people at Kareka Nduku village by providing easy access to clean water.
