We have at least been told once by our patents that reading in the dark can cause damage to your eyes. Myth or Fact?Β
Well, the truth is, just like any other muscle in our body, the muscle in our eyes can get tired and weak if overworked - this is where eyestrain can occur. However, reading in dim lightning will not cause lasting damage to our vision. Our pupils are equipped to dilate or constrict in the absence or presence of bright light.Β
But did you know? Children in The Chamoto Village still does not have access to energy & light? Children & families still have to rely on kerosene & candles at night. Not only kerosene and candles are prone to accidents, but it also provides very minimum lightning for children to study at night.Β
Letβs help Kukula Solar provide renewable solar lightning for the chamoto village by completing the #EndTheDarkness campaign! π‘Β
