This approach not only increases engagement but also ensures that grants are awarded to applicants with robust community support. The energy and enthusiasm from teachers, parents, neighbours, and children were truly inspiring. Through this campaign, 10 top-performing Early Childhood Centers (ECCs) received grants to upgrade their facilities and access comprehensive teacher training, enhancing the educational experiences of over 4,500 children. This campaign is just one example of how your support helps us make a real difference.

Secara umum, CSR dikenal di masyarakat sebagai akuntabilitas yang harus dimiliki oleh perusahaan guna meminimalkan dampak negatif dari yang dihasilkan perusahaan terhadap lingkungan dan berkontribusi positif untuk masyarakat secara keseluruhan. CSR juga merupakan cara agar perusahaan bertanggung jawab tidak hanya pada dirinya sendiri, tetapi juga kepada pemangku kepentingan dan publik.&nbsp;

Governments set the foundation for growth and progress with their extensive reach and regulatory powers. At the same time, the social sector - consisting of NGOs, nonprofits, and social enterprises - works tirelessly to address grassroots issues, ensuring that growth is inclusive and equitable. Given this context, the crucial question is how can we strengthen the collaboration between the government and social sector in Indonesia, allowing them to combine their unique strengths and work synergistically towards shared goals? We sought to address this question through a one-day capacity-building class as part of the Government Relations Development Programme for Indonesian Social Leaders (GRDP-ISL) hosted by the Chandler Institute of Governance. During this, we aimed to foster dialogue, enhance learning, and create a platform for strengthening government-social sector partnerships in Indonesia.

Halo Jiwa Indonesia adalah organisasi sosial yang menjadi wadah promosi, edukasi, inovasi, dan kolaborasi di bidang kesehatan mental. 

Isu kesehatan mental di Indonesia masih kurang menjadi perhatian utama masyarakat umum khususnya di wilayah Indonesia Timur, sejalan dengan meningkatnya stigma dan diskriminasi kepada Orang Dengan Masalah Kesehatan (ODMK) dan Orang Dengan Gangguan Jiwa (ODGJ). Berdasarkan data dari Riskesdas (2018) diketahui daerah dengan tingkat permasalahan kesehatan mental  tertinggi di Indonesia adalah Indonesia timur. Provinsi dengan prevalensi gangguan depresi tertinggi terdapat di wilayah Sulawesi Tengah sebesar 12,3% dan Gorontalo sebesar 10.3%, Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT) 9,7% dan Maluku 9,3%. Hal ini dikarenakan fasilitas dan aksesbilitas layanan  kesehatan jiwa belum memadai.

Berkaitan dengan hal tersebut Semakin meningkatnya kasus-kasus terkait masalah kesehatan mental di Indonesia Timur, terutama saat Pandemi, misalnya depresi, kecemasan, kesepian, bahkan bunuh diri.  Faktor yang menjadi penyebab terjadi gap intervention ini dikarenakan literasi kesehatan mental belum menjangkau seluruh lapisan masyarakat di daerah Indonesia Timur, khususnya di pedesaan dan aksesbilitas serta layanan yang belum merata. 

Atas dasar keresahan kami mengenai permasalahan yang terjadi di Indonesia timur,  kami mengajak seluruh changemakers di Indonesia timur untuk bergerak mengkampanyekan isu kesehatan mental untuk diatasi bersama dengan mengangkat campaign “Torang dari Timur, #torangbisa sadar sehat jiwa bersama Halo Jiwa”.
