Who had the chance to meet Champ at the Campaign x CIG event series yesterday? Thank you so much to everyone who joined us for the '1-Day Hybrid Capacity Building' on July 25th at Hotel Des Indes.

Champ is here to spill all the excitement from yesterday's event, starting with a warm welcome from Mr. William Gondokusumo, the CEO of Campaign, and Chandler Institute of Governance (CIG). The day continued with engaging discussions about government relations, social media strategies, and how to create press releases to boost your organization's exposure through mass media. Workshop Session: "Building Strong Partnerships with Government Stakeholders"
This insightful workshop, led by the Chandler Institute of Governance, focused on better engaging stakeholders in the government to foster strong and constructive long-term partnerships.
A key highlight of the workshop was understanding the government's operations. Participants dived into the complexities of government administration, identifying challenges and opportunities to establish successful partnerships. Understanding this context is crucial for more productive and effective collaborations.
Talkshow Session: "The Influence of Government in Implementing Impactful Positive Change with Social Organizations"
Next up was the much-awaited talkshow session by Mr. Gita Wirjawan, moderated by Anelies Praramadhani. It delved deep into how the government can act as a catalyst for positive change through collaboration with Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs).
Mr. Gita Wirjawan shared profound insights into various initiatives, “Anyone can collaborate with the government as long as they demonstrate these 3 attributes: integrity, competence, and accountability. You might stumble if you can't show 1 or 2 of these attributes, in any context," expressed Mr. Gita.
He also explained about program that successfully implemented through close cooperation between the government and NGOs. These efforts have had a significant impact on Indonesian society, especially in critical areas and pressing issues that need collective solutions.
Workshop Session: "Building an Impactful Campaign with Organizations and Government in Achieving Sustainable Goodness Change Goals"
In the pursuit of sustainable goodness, the Campaign team organized an inspiring and informative workshop session. Led by Jimas Ifandy, the Social Media Officer, and Gita Hermanda, the Senior Public Relations Officer, this session focused on leveraging digital platforms to strengthen the relationship between organizations and the government.
The main objective was to share and discuss innovative strategies for utilizing social media, online campaigns, and other digital tools to enhance advocacy and communication, achieving a significant impact. Moreover, Gita Hermanda, the Senior Public Relations Officer, shared valuable tips on building media relations and crafting press releases to promote impactful activities, increasing their recognition among the broader public.
The hope is that by understanding the art of creating press releases and using digital platforms effectively, social campaigns can reach a wider audience and effectively engage the community.
