Happy National Students Day! Never stop learning, YOU can make a change! If these changemakers, so can you.ย
What is your version of changing the world today? ๐ŸŒŽย

  1. Malala Yousafzai:ย Malala Yousafzai learned in her fatherโ€™s schoolโ€”one of the few that educated young girls in Pakistan.ย ย Attending school as a girl was seen as a direct challenge to the Taliban's regime.ย ย She was shot on her way to school by a Taliban gunman but survived to become a passionate advocate for a womanโ€™s right to education. On July 12th, we observe Malala Day in remembrance of the moment when Malala delivered a powerful speech at the UN, advocating for education as a fundamental human right.
  2. Greta Thunderberg:ย Greta Thunberg serves as a remarkable source of inspiration for students dedicated to mitigating the impacts of climate change. In 2019, Greta achieved the prestigious title of Time Magazine's Person of the Year in acknowledgment of her exceptional work as a climate change activist. Greta's impactful speech at the 2019 UN Climate Action Summit stands as a powerful testament to the idea that every individual, even young people, can contribute to the preservation of our planet.
  3. Jaylen Arnold :ย ย As a child, Jaylen faced the challenges of Tourette's syndrome, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and Asperger's syndrome, which made him a target for bullying by his peers. Jaylen chose to be a voice for those who endured bullying due to their differences. The Jaylen's Challenge Foundation dedicated to educating children throughout the US on the importance ofย ย bullying prevention. In recognition of his remarkable work as an anti-bullying advocate, Jaylen received the World of Children award honoree distinction in 2014.
  4. Marley Diaz: At the age of 11, Marley Dias felt the lack of diverse children's books and took action. She initiated the #1000BlackGirlBooks Twitter campaign to gather and distribute books that would resonate with Black girls. Through her campaign, Marley successfully donated over 9,000 books. At the 2017 Forbes' Women Summit, she expressed her mission to make Black girls the central characters in their own stories, creating a more inclusive and imaginative space.
  5. Nicholas Lowinger : During his teenage years, Nicholas Lowinger launched a community service initiative aimed at providing shoes to children facing homelessness. This endeavor led to the establishment of the nonprofit organization Gotta Have Sole. Thus far, the program has distributed more than 100,000 pairs of shoes to shelters in every state across the United States.
