Hello December!
Did you know that World AIDS Day is celebrated on December 1st?
For this year, WHO (World Health Organization) comes with a theme “Let Communities Lead”, which is to enrich impactful communities in shaping the HIV response, as well as global health at a large scale.
As it’s claimed that roughly 40 million population are living with HIV, community leaders and civil society are called to make an impact by
Helping to reach vulnerable, stigmatized and other difficult-to-reach populations;
Speak out against stigma and discrimination;
Helping young people take leadership in the AIDS response so that services meet their needs.
However, we, as #Changemakers, what can we do to make an impact?
Educate Ourselves
Based on scientific research, there’s still no method to cure HIV. Therefore, it is crucial to educate ourselves about sex education and be aware about the positive & negative consequences.
Listen
Have a strong empathy and always be there for our loved ones and our surroundings who have HIV will encourage them to fight for HIV!
Maintain a healthy diet
