Update
The first paragraph. Initiative and team
Inowastech is an early social enterprise that campaign waste separation and recycling lifestyle. Through Inowastech’s products, we hope it will educate people to separate organic and inorganic waste and generate recycling activities. Our product is a flexible waste cart for separating organic and inorganic waste. In the initial stage, we will make a pilot project for promoting our prototype.
Our team includes members from different backgrounds and fields, with same mission to protect environment.
1. Adhi Susatyo as Inventor / Founder. He had made two prototypes of innovative waste cart and won two competitions for his idea. He will lead Inowastech’s members in pioneering social enterprise and operations. He also maps current, future and long-term business plans.
2. Sarah Rauzana as Project Manager/ Co-Founder. She has some experiences in some social project events. In Inowastech, she will manage some projects especially an initial project for promoting our product to society.
3. Marzhuki Usman as Administration. He has some experiences in some organizations. He will be in charge of inowastech’s administration and online marketing as well.
The second paragraph. Describe initiative and share the good impact
The problem we want to solve is inconsistent waste separation behavior. As we know, people have started to separate organic and inorganic waste because there are some organic and inorganic bins at homes, schools, and other public facilities. However, the waste will be mixed again because the cart used by waste picker just has one waste space. For our initiative action, we will implement the product in the tourist village as our pilot site. The reason why we choose the tourist village is because they have community that have same vision especially environment. In addition, we will also implement the project at schools. By implementing the sustainable waste separation project using our product, it will educate people to separate organic and inorganic waste and generate recycling activities.
The third paragraph. The Success Story
Talking about success story, our prototype was funded by greeneration foundation, fortuga ITB, and Aliansi Desainer Produk Industri Indonesia (ADPII) in Waste Wise Design Competition 2018 (WWDC 2018). This idea was awarded as Gold Winner and Favorite Winner in WWDC 2018. In January 2019, our team became one of the five teams that accepts proposal mentoring held by Tanoto Foundation cooperated with Wharton School. This mentoring is to prepare an event submission namely “Ideas For Action 2019”.
