Updates: 1st: Our initiative and our team Morimom is a social enterprise #Mom2Mom. We realize that nutritional intake during pregnancy moment is so crucial, for poor nutritional intake may cause stunting for the newborn. We produce Moringa Oleifera's processed product to make sure that pregnant can meet their nutritional needs. Morimom products are Moringa tea, Moringa Cinnamon tea, and Moringa oats. We only use the best quality of Moringa oleifera that grow in East Nusa Tenggara Our team are alumni of University of Indonesia that came from different background with one mission, to eliminate stunting by empowering Mom for Mom: 1. Goei Diana S, as Co-founder /Chief Executive Officer. She leads the team to make sure Morimom achieve its purpose. 2. Rae Sita, as Co-founder/ Head of Creative and Marketing. She is responsible to promote and market Morimom. 3. Nadya, as Nutrition Advisor. She gives advisory about nutritional matters for Morimom. 2nd: Our initiative and impacts Why we do what we do: Stunting issue: 1. More than 35% of child below 5 years old in Indonesia are stunting survivor. 2. Indonesia is labelled as country with malnutrition by WHO 3. One of the most reasons for stunting in Indonesia is caused by poor nutritional intake since the fetus still in the womb (during pregnancy), newborn until the child is two years old. Mother issue: 1. In middle-low income families, the only source of income is from father When we empower mother, we empower family 2. Mother from middle-low income usually has a lot of free time which hasn't been used maximally. Add: Indonesia has great potential source of Moringa oleifera that can be solution for pregnancy nutritional problem 3rd: our success story Success story: In one year, we have expanded our collaboration with 9 mothers - 4 mothers first, in West Java to provide the best Moringa's processed product for Morimom customers. We only use the best quality of Moringa leaves that are sent from East Nusa Tenggara. Currently, we already have 3 featured product: 1. Moringa tea 2. Moringa Cinnamon tea 3. Moringa oats 4th: why we have to participate in this Academy With Morimom development, we believe that it will become a blessing for Indonesia not only in the present and future. In the present, this mother empowerment program gives benefit for mothers by increasing their income, which also means increased family welfare. From the customers side, mothers get the best choice to meet their nutritional need during pregnancy by consuming Morimom products. We hope it may help to eliminate stunting for children in Indonesia. In the future, less stunting means every child has the opportunity to achieve their full growth potential. We may not see the future yet, but we now have the confidence that less stunting also means brighter future for Indonesia. Right now, we are on our development stage for our enterprise and our products. With the number of pregnant mothers and babies which continue to grow in Indonesia, we believe this Academy will help us to change the future of Indonesia.
