Happy Valentine’s Day! We used this momentum to remind people about self love as we believe that self love is an important key for greater understanding about human or individual as a whole; that we can only love others if we already love ourselves. Valentine is not always about flowers or chocolate or having fancy dinner with loved ones, but it can also mean sharing love and positive attitude to self and others. The way we do this was by distributing hundreds of bookmarks to the people we met on the street around the campus. On the bookmarks, we put a Balinese universal philosophy of Tat Twam Asi (love yourself and others as you want to be loved). People who received bookmarks from us seemed to look happy and most of them shared it on social media. We will keep doing this in the future because we are comitted to inspire kindness in everyone’s heart. With more people support our activities, we can create a bigger impact to the society.
