This approach not only increases engagement but also ensures that grants are awarded to applicants with robust community support. The energy and enthusiasm from teachers, parents, neighbours, and children were truly inspiring. Through this campaign, 10 top-performing Early Childhood Centers (ECCs) received grants to upgrade their facilities and access comprehensive teacher training, enhancing the educational experiences of over 4,500 children. This campaign is just one example of how your support helps us make a real difference.

Governments set the foundation for growth and progress with their extensive reach and regulatory powers. At the same time, the social sector - consisting of NGOs, nonprofits, and social enterprises - works tirelessly to address grassroots issues, ensuring that growth is inclusive and equitable. Given this context, the crucial question is how can we strengthen the collaboration between the government and social sector in Indonesia, allowing them to combine their unique strengths and work synergistically towards shared goals? We sought to address this question through a one-day capacity-building class as part of the Government Relations Development Programme for Indonesian Social Leaders (GRDP-ISL) hosted by the Chandler Institute of Governance. During this, we aimed to foster dialogue, enhance learning, and create a platform for strengthening government-social sector partnerships in Indonesia.

Cilota Bali is an environmentally-friendly sociopreneur by promoting a local culture called 'Cili' and the village’s resources, Lontar/palmyra palm tree (Borassus flabellifer). Cilota Bali combines the methods of creativesociopreneur, waste management, and the philosophy of 'Tri Hita Karana' (three harmonious relationship between human and God, other humans, and environment); empowering village nature and reducing waste (palemahan), empowering the local community and create the job (pawongan) as well as preservation of cultural symbols of Cili (parhyangan). Cilota Bali produces souvenirs such as graduate gifts in the form of clock, mini graduate token, recycled-shopping bags, MICE event's souvenirs, handmade-natural soap, and others. Cilota Bali hopes to create an inclusive life ecosystem and continuity for the local people besides as the creative profitable enterprise.

Cilota Bali hopes to create an inclusive life ecosystem and continuity for the local people besides as the creative profitable enterprise and waste reduction initiatives. Minimizing waste and optimizing village's resource for local community's prosperity

Our activities in our village with Production Team. Anyone is welcome and we are happy to teach them how to make souvenirs and they can bring home. So exciting!

At the moment, we are planning and doing to make fundrising to make our dream comes true: building a Cilota Bali's Production House in our village, so that we can work comfortably and continue our mission to develop our start-up creative recycling enterprise by empowering local community in Tamansari - Tianyar Barat Village, Kubu District, Karangasem Regency, Bali.
