Introduce Rubysh. The first trendsetter for waste made eco-fashion products. We exist with the aim to upcycle waste stream to create a sustainable local circular economy for marginalized communities. In short, we just simply collect the waste and creatively transform them into something that you can proudly wear and show off to the world. Rubysh comprises a small yet dedicated team with varying expertise. Here are the members. 1. Encep Amir. CEO. He is responsible for leading the company and directing company strategies/actions to reach the corporate goals 2. Maulana Yusuf. COO. He is mainly handling the operational activities on the field including running the workshops and organizing online marketplace 3. Endang Murpratiwi Rahayu. CFO. She manages company spending and expenditure while also compiling financial reports for the company 4. Risa Gama Siregar. Lead of Design. She is the one who creates product prototypes and conduct market test for product development 5. Siti Salamah. Lead of Humar Resources. She larglely deals with handcrafter recruitment and measuring social impact of our activities Our initiative roots from the lack of added value of recycling processes at the household and industrial level where most of waste comes from. Our socio-preneur is intended to provide sustainable and economic generating opportunities for all stakeholders in waste upstream. As such, we encourage local people to participate in proper sorting and upcycling waste. As the additional value, better waste management at source can be achieved while offering considerable amount of income for mostly women as our benefit recipient as well. Till this current moment, we have successfully utilized more than 300 kg of PET waste plastic as our materials, not to mention, other HDPE packaging and wasted fabrics. At present, we already have 7 workshops, employing in total more than 30 women and more in the future. Each person may gain a net earning of roughly 400 thousands for one cycle of production. Despite all challenges and difficulties we already have passed throughout the years, we have some memorable moments and recognitions to be thankful for.
