TRI Upcycle is a social enterprise based in Bali, Indonesia, using upcycled materials to promote conscious consumption and a planet Earth with more trees. We produce fashion accessories from remnant and old fabrics as main material, then donate the profits from the sales to six grassroots organizations who support the forest in Indonesia. One of our campaign now is #TRIforTree, by buying one of our product will equal to planting a tree in Central Kalimantan. Reducing waste, raising awareness of conscious consumption, and reforestation are our missions. We have planted 1,000 trees in Kalimantan and Bali, built 17 dams to rehydrate the Sabangau Forest in Central Kalimantan, and support patrol activity in Leuser Forest in Sumatra. This year is our third year since we first launch our first product. In the future, we want to broaden our scope by ‘playing’ with other materials and support as many as forest protector initiatives.
