“Complement, Collaborate, Empower!” is how HARA can be best described and it can be implemented in our business as well. What does this phrase has to tell us ? It is about the people who work in a business. Just like in any kind of relationship, a good business requires people who complement each other and can work together. HARA is a good example as it is co-founded by two men whose educational background and professional experience are different but perfectly complement each other. Larissa Sidarto, Head of Business Development and Marketing of HARA, in #BeSociopreneur Coaching Class 2 at @america last week, explained that HARA was raised by two co-founders; one was an expert in technology, and the other was an expert in business. This complement between these co-founders has successfully made HARA what it is now; a global and open blockchain-based data that enables farmers, entrepreneurs, and policy makers to make data-driven solutions in the field of agriculture.
Can you imagine how HARA collect agriculture data from all over Indonesia? Of course the co-founders cannot do it alone, that’s why they collaborate with local people who they later call as agripreneur. These agripreneurs are local people who are equipped with smartphones to help collect data from farmers using HARA mobile application. These agripreneur are willing to collaborate with HARA because they want to help farmers in their villages. With this collaboration, not only HARA help Indonesian farmers, but also empower other local people to be agripreneurs, introduce them to technology and how it can be used to help society. HARA might not be what it is now without this kind of collaboration.
Yes! Collaboration is key in building a business, because it is impossible for one person to have all of what it needs to make the business works. And to make a great collaboration, we need to find people whose skills complement yours. Nadia Putri from Alpha JWC Ventures also mentioned that what makes them invest in HARA is the potential of the people who complement each other.
HARA model has proven to empower rural communities and increased economic opportunities by facilitating equitable, inclusive marketplaces in the Indonesian agriculture landscape.
She talked about her passion of utilizing data to promote financial inclusion!
Thank you to the HARA team for working tirelessly to reach out to smallholder farmers and turn this vision into a reality.
Proud to bring HARA on an international stage! Together we can transform the food and agriculture sector one byte at a time 🇲🇨👩🏻🌾👨🏻🌾🌾➡️🌏
Congratulations Larissa Sidarto on her well-deserved success!
