Alpha JWC Ventures itself is the biggest venture capital firm in Indonesia. Alpha JWC Ventures has given investment to Lemonilo.com thus, describing Lemonilo.com as an example, Erika revealed how Lemonilo.com has attracted her firm to invest in Lemonilo.com. “When you first come to us, your product or business doesn’t have to be perfect. What’s important for us is, your product or business has to be clear and you have to be able to show us the direction that your product or business is heading to,” she said. She added that most investors want their investee to fully understand their own products and know what to do to develop their business. “Do not expect your investor to show you the way. You are the one who should know the way and show it to them,” she said. She also gave advise that to win a smart investment, which is not mere money, investee need to build a good relationship with their investors. “You can learn from Lemonilo.com. They came to us and talk to us, not just wanting money from us.” Shinta Nurfauzia, CEO and Co-Founder of Lemonilo.com, affirmed what’s been said by Erika, “Our prototype product was not so perfect. It was not as tasty and delicious as the product today. But we were clear about our product. We had a clear vision about it.” Selling of products are the source of income for Lemonilo, however Shinta refused to provide information on how much percentage of sales to the company. For new customer, they are directed to visit official website or apps for transactions. Shinta was quoted by saying "The objective for this market place is to develop and relaunch variety of products in order to help Indonesian society live healthier. In the near future, Lemonilo apps will be useful for not only shopping but also healthy lifestyle. "With increasing of Indonesian healthy awareness, we believe our customer will increase this year".
