The journey of your startup is to validate your hypothesis by being experimental. We have the tendency to trust what we read to validate our hypothesis, but when building a startup, that is not always the case. When launching a product for validating hyposthesis, we need to verify the obtained data results so we can be sure that we are doing the right thing. It is also very important to remember that doing startup is doing things that have not been done before or have not been tested. Failures and successes will come very often, and to keep us going, we need to be passionate about the task on hand and deeply believe in the visions and missions that we want to achieve.

It can be tricky to decide on your first hires but first of all, they do need to believe in your missions, have strong foundations, and have the growth potential. What come follows after your first hires, then how to build a solid and lean team for your startup. There are many uncertainties when growing your startup hence it’s important to keep the lean strategy as long as you can. Building a lean & solid team needs to pay attention to these points:
1. Focus on business impacts - make sure that the product and service we create will accelerate the business 
2. Ruthlessly prioritise - by keeping the team lean then we need to be more critically and carefully prioritize on things that need to be executed first
3. Give the freedom for the team to contribute - interconnected to previous coaching class, this is one of the key actions in building the great workplace to empower our people so they can thrive to become their best version of themselves. Giving them space to think creatively, freely, may can increase the productivity significantly.

Lastly, the important lesson from this course (and all the coaching class) is to start small, simple, adapt and fast. Start from as simple as making orders via WhatsApp before you’re deciding to or while you’re developing your app to get the picture clearer on your business activities and flows so you can get better understanding and visions on how you will digitise these processes to make it more effective.
