The energy and enthusiasm from teachers, parents, neighbours, and children were truly inspiring. Through this campaign, 10 top-performing Early Childhood Centers (ECCs) received grants to upgrade their facilities and access comprehensive teacher training, enhancing the educational experiences of over 4,500 children. This campaign is just one example of how your support helps us make a real difference. </span></p>

Saat ini, satu dari tiga makanan yang dikonsumsi oleh manusia menjadi waste atau terbuang, jumlah makanan yang terbuang sekitar 1.3 milyar ton per tahun. Food waste dapat meningkatkan emisi gas rumah kaca (FAO,2011). Indonesia menjadi penyumbang sampah makanan kedua terbesar di dunia yaitu 300 kg/orang per tahun (The Economist, 2016). Sementara itu masih banyak orang yang kelaparan di Indonesia maupun di dunia. Gas methane yang dikeluarkan oleh tumpukan sampah makanan 21 kali lebih berbahaya dibandingkan CO2 (The Economist, 2016).

Apabila kita dapat mengurangi jumlah food waste yang terbuang, kita dapat mengurangi jumlah gas rumah kaca setiap tahunnya. Selain itu, jika seperempat makanan yang terbuang dapat diselamatkan setidaknya itu dapat memberi kontribusi untuk mengurangi jumlah kepalaran di dunia. Dengan mengkampanyekan isu ini, setidaknya masyarakat dapat tersadarkan akibat dari pembuangan makanan yang tidak dihabiskan
