It was a great discussion as both of the speakers delivered insightful materials on how small/medium social enterprises could adapt to COVID-19 pandemic that slows down economic activities. The discussion became even more lively and deep since some of you give questions to the speakers.
So, last night we have learned both good and bad practices from small/medium social enterprises in responding to COVID-19 pandemic. Next week, we will have the 2nd webinar discussing about how big, established enterprises adapt their business strategies amidst the pandemic.

Professor Michael Goldberg, Case Western Reserve University
Associate Professor of Design and Innovation at the Weatherhead School of Management of Case Western University, Michael Goldberg is an experienced venture capitalist and international business leader whose teaching is focused on the fields of entrepreneurship and early stage finance. At the same university, he is also the inaugural Executive Director of the Veale Institute for Entrepreneurship. With support from the Burton D. Morgan Foundation, Goldberg created a massive open online course (MOOC) called Beyond Silicon Valley: Growing Entrepreneurship in Transitioning Economies, which has attracted over 175,000 students from 190 countries and subtitled in 16 languages. Inc.com named Beyond Silicon Valley one of the top online classes that "will make you smarter and more interesting".
Jefrey Joe, Alpha JWC Ventures
Jefrey Joe is a technology investor who believes in making the biggest impact in Indonesia. He co-founded Alpha JWC Ventures, a venture capital firm with a successful track record since 2015, focusing on investing in technology companies in Indonesia. Given his strong interest in technology, he has also been an Angel Investor in early-stage startups in Asia and the United States. Highly entrepreneurial, Jefrey also co-founded sepulsa.com, Indonesia's pioneer online bill payment platform that does well until today.
The discussion will be moderated by Alia Marsha, Managing Editor at Campaign.com.
