Yes? 🙋Then you might be the right person for the job!
To begin with, we are looking for three young people to get on board the UN Youth Envoy’s Fellowship, which aims at providing you, a young talent 💪, a chance to get involved the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.
The selected fellows will join us at the United Nations’ Headquarters in New York for a duration of 12 months.
Requirements:
Required degree level: Bachelor degree or equivalent
Education - Additional Comments:
Recognized First Level University degree in one of the following fields: Gender, Feminist Studies, Human Rights, Political Science, International Development or other relevant subject area;
Fluency in English (both oral and written): excellent writing skills.
Required experience: 12 Months
Experience remark:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and positive working attitude;
Strong ability to multi-task and a drive for on-time delivery
Desirable:
Relevant formal or informal experience in gender and youth policies and programmes would be considered an asset;
Previous formal or informal experience of working for/with feminist organizations, women’s rights or human rights organizations is an added advantage;
Fluency in another Official UN language, in addition to English, would be considered an asset;
Language skills:
English(Mandatory), Level - Fluent
