​Hai, Changemakers! Pasti akhir-akhir ini media sosial kamu ramai dengan pemberitaan kasus kekerasan anak. Kasus kekerasan anak di Indonesia menjadi momok yang menakutkan. Menurut laporan dari Kementerian Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Perlindungan Anak (PPPA), ada 16.854 anak yang mengalami kekerasan di tahun 2023 Kekerasan yang paling banyak adalah kekerasan seksual dengan jumlah 8.838 kejadian. Kemudian, ada kekerasan fisik sebanyak 4.025 kejadian dan kekerasan psikis sebanyak 3.800 kejadian.Duh… ngeri banget lihat angkanya, sampai banyak banget. Belum lagi kasus terbaru yang lagi hangat menjadi perbincangan publik. Yakni, kasus kekerasan anak yang dilakukan oleh IPS, pengasuh anak Aghnia Punjabi. Kekerasan terjadi pada kamis, 28 Maret 2024, pukul 04:18 WIB. Kronologi Kejadian Terkuaknya kekerasan yang dilakukan oleh IPS bermula saat dirinya memberikan informasi pada orang tua korban. IPS memberikan informasi jika anaknya mengalami cedera akibat jatuh dengan adanya memar di bagian mata sebelah kiri dan kening di bagian tengah atas. Saat mendapatkan kiriman foto, orang tua korban nggak mempercayai begitu saja. Orang tua korban mencoba membuka DVR CCTV yang berada di dalam kamar. Dari pantauan CCTV diketahui kalau anaknya menjadi korban dari pengasuhnya dengan tindakan dipukul, dijewer, dicubit, hingga ditindih.

Governments set the foundation for growth and progress with their extensive reach and regulatory powers. At the same time, the social sector - consisting of NGOs, nonprofits, and social enterprises - works tirelessly to address grassroots issues, ensuring that growth is inclusive and equitable. Given this context, the crucial question is how can we strengthen the collaboration between the government and social sector in Indonesia, allowing them to combine their unique strengths and work synergistically towards shared goals? We sought to address this question through a one-day capacity-building class as part of the Government Relations Development Programme for Indonesian Social Leaders (GRDP-ISL) hosted by the Chandler Institute of Governance. During this, we aimed to foster dialogue, enhance learning, and create a platform for strengthening government-social sector partnerships in Indonesia.

​Hai, Changemakers! Sabtu kemarin Champ senang banget nih, berkesempatan datang ke Belajaraya festival dari Semua Murid Semua Guru yang diadakan di Pos Bloc Jakarta. Champ datang sekita pukul 12.00 WIB dan udah banyak orang memenuhi setiap sudut. Dari di panggung akustik, talkshow di panggung musik, sampai banyak juga teman-teman yang belajar di Kelas Belajar yang diadakan di cafe-cafe sekitar Pos Bloc. Champ juga ikutan salah satu sesi Kelas Belajar dan berkesempatan belajar bareng Kak Ryan Adriandhy di Creative Storytelling for Edutaiment Content. Champ banyak banget dapat tips menulis konten storytelling, nih. Salah satunya yaitu: Setiap konten storytelling harus narasi yang jelas. A youth community in East Nusa Tenggara. 

Aksi untuk NTT was established by a group of volunteers in a program called Kado untuk Anak Indonesia that was held by Mata Garuda in Pathau, Kabupaten Kupang, on 16 January 2016. In response to high enthusiast from the volunteers, we decided to create a community called Aksi untuk NTT on 22 January 2016. We hope that through this community, youth in East Nusa Tenggara can get involved in the effort to build and develop their hometown.  Based on SDG Pyramid To Happiness, our programs focus on Ecology (Goals number 11 to 15) and People (Goals number 3 and 4). Our members and volunteer have various background and profession. Most of our volunteers are university students, but we also have many government and private sector employees in our team.

In the organization structure, we have team Aksi and volunteers. Team Aksi consists of 15 youth who run the organization in structure. Each of the team has her/his role and responsibility such as Leader, Secretary, Treasurer, General Council, Youth Ambassador, Public Relation, Documentation, Creative, and Logostic. We renew the structure every year (except for the general council) so we will post the current structure in another post. We also have a volunteer group where the member can participate in our project and event in one-time-only or in regular basis. Now we have 350 volunteers in our database who are always enthusiast to follow our updates and join our events.

The issues we are trying to solve is low participation of East Nusa Tenggara youth in the SDGs. Many youth especially those who are in senior high school and undergraduate study do not realy understand -or even care- about what is SDGs and what they can do to participate in it. There are many cases show that many youth prefer to spend their spare time on meaningless activities. We would like to gather as many youth as possible to unlock their potential for reaching the SDGs through the region development by providing support systems, leadership workshop and mentoring and volunteerism activities. 

Until now, we have held more than 20 events since 2016 and we will share the story of each event in our campaign page.

We believe that no matter how small our action is, it contributes to the development of our beloved province.

​About:Indonesia is the home of the largest collection of 569 coral reef species, and contributes to 17% of the world’s coral reef. More than 36% of them were destroyed. Biorock Indonesia and partners have been working for 20 years, and every year 3000 baby corals are transplanted and nurtured by our team and volunteers. Covid 19 has stopped many businesses and&nbsp; people movements that reduce the donation and field volunteers. It also became News Headlines which might act as decoy for decision makers creating deals damaging coral reefs. These baby corals need help to survive and thrive.&nbsp; The festival has 4 webinars (3 in English and 1 in Bahasa Indonesia), workshop, campaign #1coralatatime, and adoption baby coral.
